4:00 PM  6:00 PMOn November 14, members of the Deeply Rooted Dance Theater professional company will teach and perform for the women of Division 5, who will be invited to dance with company members Dominique Atwood, Rebekah Kuzma, Marlayna Locklear, and Nyemah Stuart, and to experience excerpts from classic DRDT repertoire, Essence. This showing will be followed by discussion and reflection time with Artistic Director Nicole Clarke-Springer, Kevin Iega Jeff, and Cook County Arts Collective founder Jane Sawyer.

​On Tuesday, October 1, CCAC begins offering regular dance classes at Grace House, which since opening in 1994, has provided interim housing, emotional and spiritual support, and professional counseling to women who are exiting the Illinois prison system.
